This simple vanilla-infused sugar adds a warm, sweet aroma to any recipe. Lightly fragrant and versatile, it’s perfect for baking, coffee, or sprinkling over fresh fruit and desserts.

Ingredients

• 1 c cane sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until fully incorporated. The mixture should feel like wet sand.
2. Dump the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
3. Allow it to sit overnight so it can absorb the vanilla and dry out.
4. The next day, break or smash the mixture into pieces.
5. Transfer to a sealed container for storage.
