Cheddar Jalapeno Stuffed Bagel Bites

These soft, chewy bagel bites are filled with a creamy, cheesy jalapeño center for the perfect balance of rich and spicy. With a golden exterior and melty filling, they’re a bold, savory snack or breakfast option that’s packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Bagels

• 2 cups yogurt
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 4 cups all-purpose flour or Italian 00 flour (add ½–1 cup more if using Einkorn)

Jalapeño Cream Cheese

• 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
• ⅔ cup diced jarred jalapeños, drained
• ⅔ cup cheddar cheese, diced or shredded

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet tray with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, add the bagel ingredients and mix until combined. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, add the softened cream cheese, cheddar, and jalapeños. Mix well.
4. Scoop out ¼ cup of bagel dough, shape into a ball, and make a well in the center.
5. Add 1–2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture, then close the dough around it so the filling is completely covered. Place on the prepared baking tray.
6. Continue until all the dough is used. If desired, add an extra jalapeño slice and a small chunk of cheese on top.
7. Bake for 25–30 minutes (check at 20 minutes) until golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and enjoy.
