Homemade Pizza Dough Mix

This easy, make-ahead pizza dough mix creates a soft, chewy crust with a perfectly crisp edge. Made with simple pantry ingredients, it’s perfect for gifting or keeping on hand for quick homemade pizza nights.

Ingredients

Dry Mix

• 3 cups Italian 00 flour
• 1 Tbsp yeast (active dry or instant)
• 2 Tbsp raw cane sugar
• 2 tsp salt

Dough

• 1½ cups warm water
• ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions

1. Mix all dry ingredients together and store in an airtight bag or container.
2. When ready to use, add warm water and olive oil to a bowl.
3. Pour in the entire dry mix and stir until combined.
4. Knead for about 1 minute, just until a smooth dough forms.
5. Place dough back into the bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
6. Preheat oven to 450°F while dough is rising.
7. Punch down the dough and spread onto a pan. Shape into 1 large or 2 smaller crusts.
8. Add desired toppings and cheese.
9. Bake for 16–18 minutes, until crust is golden and cooked through.
