Rocky Road Rice Cereal Treats

Soft, gooey browned butter rice cereal treats made with sweetened condensed milk, topped with toasted almonds, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Rich, chewy, and loaded with classic campfire-inspired flavors.

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, browned
• 20 oz mini marshmallows
• 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 12 oz crispy rice cereal
• Pinch of salt

Topping

• 1 c toasted almonds, chopped
• 1 c mini marshmallows
• 1 c chocolate chips

Instructions

1. In a large stock pot, brown the butter over medium heat.
2. Once browned, reduce heat to low and add the marshmallows, condensed milk and salt.
3. Stir until melted and smooth.
4. Add vanilla extract and crispy rice cereal. Turn off heat and mix until fully coated.
5. Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined sheet tray or baking dish.
6. Using lightly wet hands, press the mixture evenly and firmly into the pan.
7. Press almonds, marshmallows and chocolate chips into the top.
8. Allow treats to set for 2–3 hours before slicing into squares.
9. Enjoy!
