Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

This sweet, buttery latte tastes just like a classic frosted sugar cookie in drink form. With hints of vanilla and almond and a rich, creamy finish, it’s a cozy, dessert-style coffee that works perfectly hot or iced.

Ingredients

Syrup

• ¼ cup cane sugar
• ¼ cup water
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp almond extract
• ¼ tsp butter extract

Latte

• 2–3 Tbsp sugar cookie syrup
• ¼–⅓ cup milk or heavy cream
• Hot coffee or espresso

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and a pinch of salt.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 4–5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, almond, and butter extracts. Whisk well.
4. To make the latte, add 2–3 tablespoons of syrup to a mug or glass.
5. Add milk or cream and heat (or froth if desired).
6. Pour in freshly brewed coffee or espresso and stir to combine.
7. Serve hot or over ice and enjoy!
