These rich, fudgy brownies are made with creamy nut butter and naturally sweetened with maple syrup for a deeply chocolatey, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Flourless and simple, they’re a wholesome twist on a classic dessert without sacrificing flavor.

Ingredients

• 16 oz cashew butter or almond butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup maple syrup
• 2 tbsp hot brewed coffee (optional)
• ½–⅔ cup cocoa powder (use more if lighter cocoa, less if darker)
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
• Optional: chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 baking pan.
2. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and whisk until everything is fully incorporated and smooth.
3. Pour the batter into the 9×13 pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
4. Bake for 15–17 minutes. The bars will look puffy and very soft—do not overbake.
5. Remove from the oven and cool for about 1 hour before slicing. (They can be eaten sooner, but they will be very soft and messy.)
6. Slice and enjoy.
