Cookies N Cream Rice Cereal Treats

These cookies and cream rice cereal treats are soft, chewy, gooey, and packed with cookies-and-cream flavor. Rich browned butter adds a deep caramel-like flavor while crushed Oreos and marshmallows create the ultimate nostalgic dessert bar with a bakery-style twist.

Ingredients

• 1 cup browned butter
• 20 oz mini marshmallows
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups crushed Oreos
• 12 oz crispy rice cereal
• Pinch of salt
• 1 cup crushed Oreos, for topping

Instructions

1. In a large stock pot, brown the butter over medium heat.
2. Once browned, reduce heat to low and add the marshmallows, 2 c crushed oreos and salt.
3. Stir until melted and smooth.
4. Add vanilla extract and crispy rice cereal. Turn off heat and mix until fully coated.
5. Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined sheet tray or baking dish.
6. Using lightly wet hands, press the mixture evenly and firmly into the pan.
7. Sprinkle 1 c crushed oreos over the top and gently press them in.
8. Allow treats to set for 2–3 hours before slicing into squares.
9. Enjoy!
