Rainbow Bagels

These vibrant rainbow bagels are soft, chewy, and fun to make, with beautifully swirled colors throughout. Made with simple ingredients and no yeast, they’re a playful twist on a classic bagel—perfect for brightening up breakfast or adding a pop of color to your bakery lineup.

Ingredients

• 3 cups whole milk Greek yogurt
• 1 cup water
• 6 cups GF Fioreglut flour (or all-purpose flour)
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 Tbsp salt
• 4 food coloring colors of choice

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt and water and mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, starting with the lower amount of flour and adding more as needed. Mix until a soft dough forms that is not sticky. If using gluten-free flour, allow time for it to absorb liquid before adding more. If using all-purpose flour, add additional flour 1 tablespoon at a time if needed.
2. Divide the dough into 4 equal sections. Create a well in each section and add a different food coloring. Mix each portion until the color is evenly incorporated.
3. Roll each colored section into a long rope, about 18–24 inches. Lay the ropes side by side, then twist them together and gently knead just enough to create a swirled effect. Avoid overmixing to keep the colors distinct.
4. Divide the dough into 12–14 pieces and shape each into a bagel. Place on a baking sheet.
5. Bake for 20–22 minutes, until cooked through and lightly golden. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
